Every year since 1951, the third Thursday of November, tucked between Halloween and Thanksgiving, marks an entertaining event for the worldwide wine community: the release of the new-vintage Beaujolais Nouveau wine.
Domaine de Sermezy is situated near the village of Brouilly, in the heart of Beaujolais, Burgundy's largest appellation owned by the Chevrier family, the 18-hectare Domaine in its existing form was created when current owner Patrice's parents got married and joined their lands together. Patrice took the helm in 1984 and his know-how, deep understanding of the diverse terroirs and passion has made this a standout Domaine to be discovered.
