Mas d'Espanet Chacun Son Chenin - 2022 Biodynamic

While something of an anomaly, wine is proof that Chenin Blanc can excel in France, outside of the Loire Valley.
 
The freshness of the bottom of the "Pic st Loup", bâtonnage, and use of neutral oak lend ripeness and lush qualities, though the variety's persistent acidity maintains the wine's balance. 
Its layers of complex aromas include white flowers, mango, Meyer lemon, honey, ginger, and sweet almond, and the intricacy continues onto the palate. Ripe and round, its yeasty savour brings contrast to its taut acidic core.
