Domaine LC Poitout Chablis 1st Cru Les Fourneaux Opallion - 2023

The Cuvée Opallion comes from the vineyard "Les Fourneaux," located near Fleys. Due to its steep slopes and rocky terrain, this vineyard is challenging to work, as all tasks must be performed by hand. It is also highly susceptible to spring frosts, which have significantly impacted yields in recent years due to climate change. 

On the nose, the wine reveals delicate aromas of mint, honeysuckle, and white flowers, complemented by notes of crisp apple and pear. On the palate, it offers remarkable freshness and elegance, with vibrant citrusy notes and subtle hints of almond. The finish is both persistent and complex.
