Patrice Chevrier Beaujolais Nouveau 2023
Now coming to the end of one of the warmest vendanges on record all over France; winegrowers and wine houses are turning to the production stage after the excitement of seeing the grapes harvested, and with vines giving full, juicy and crunchy grapes that reached perfect maturity, 2023 has all the makings of a great vintage for Beaujolais.
The gamay based first wine of the season will soon leave its cradle and make its way to the bistros of Paris and beyond. What started as a race from the countryside to the capital is now a worldwide fête of French culture. Light, fruity, juicy, and with it’s characteristic touch of candied red berries, Beaujolais Nouveau is to be enjoyed on it’s own or with a nice charcuterie board, as long as you’re in good company!
