Pierre Gobillard is based at Hautvillers, formely Dom Perignon's famous Village. This village is birthplace of Champagne, its terroir and traditions are what makes Champagne unique. The Champagne House of Pierre Gobillard is a long history of 4 generations of winemakers. The Domaine now grows the 3 mains Champagne grape varieties all over Hautvillers and Cumières: Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay. Their signature: elegance, freshness while following the champagne Traditions.
The colour is pale yellow with green tinges. The nose is fresh with aromas of citrus fruit and white flowers. When in contact with the air, there are hints of apricot. Beautiful freshness in the mouth with a delicate hint of liquorice and aniseed. The bubbles are fine with a long and intense finish.
Thanks to its minerality, It is a great Champagne to pair with oysters, sea food platter or even as a toast.
This Champagne received 1 star at the guide Hachette 2019 and the Silver Medal at the Decanter 2021.
